looks different to how I remember it the pipe peg was the best and can remember riding my bike to yarm one day stopped looked over into boros water and it was wick with decent fish never rode so fast home to get my rods went back and still never caught one out of that shoal the good old days

I thought Thornaby had the water on both sides of the bank for a couple of miles upstream of Leven bridge. You used to be able to park up at one of the farms further up the river from the bridge. Not sure where the Boro water is.

Thornaby / yarm water doesn't start at the bridge. It's a bit upstream. I understand boro have the bit from the bridge to the start of thornaby's but

thornaby's starts bout quarter mile up above boro's.little bitt in middle you cant fish or used to be.still hoping it was a cheb.I close my eyes and a see loops after a fish rise lol.im trying to think the best method to get success now.it was coffin leads and gentils when I was a youngen.uncut loaf and a drilled bullet.me dads fisherman friends and a well used stained flask with crisp butties with sauce on,or banana buns,or the dreaded pork dripping crust .
