A good turn out for today's works party, unfortunately I could only stay until 12ish, but a fair bit of work was completed. I'll post the works party newsletter when it's finished.

Looked like a good day weather wise, I was tempted to sack the studying and come down.

Lovely stretch and you never know what you are going to catch along there. Always wild above the upstream stile past the island and could do with cutting back with the strimmer nearer the start of the season. Farmer normally has a run along with his mower along the main stretch which is decent of him.

There was two lads there today saying that they will be back before the start of the season with the strimmer And it's one stretch that I'm going too hit this year

Newsletter from last works party Click here.
the next works party is this Sunday (31st May) at the Ferryhill stretch. A quality stretch that is only lightly fished mainly due to the steep banks. Unfortunately I'm working away but hopefully a few lads from the forum will turn up and continue the good work that has been put in so far. Details for the works party - Click here
