thought worth a mention.dropped the old dear of at redcar today and had a wander round the above.2 lads fishin, one opposite the boat house the other on the point, the point being to the left of the boathouse.lad opposite had 3 bream first thing and 2 carp this morn, tuther lad a few bitts.anyway asked em for clubcards, they had none.no rod licence either, was polite and asked them to move on they did replying they thought it was free fishing.no hassles at all with them.

o and by the way I didn't witness any of the fish getting caught, but did see a few carp cruising and little uns topping.all fish were supposed to have been caught early doors. carp ide say were around 6-8lb.a few dead fish.2 bream and one carp, looked well past there sell buy date,so reckon been there a gd while.still that problem with bird crap everywere, pegs were coverd in the stuff, dog crap everywere and discarded tackle.picked up what I could.was only a quick call cos I seen the lads from the car when I passed and had to get back.they mentioned they had been night fishing it aswell,so guess they are skipping the gate after the parks shut.
