Fished it loads of times. Good, well run fishery with plenty of carp in the main lake which is Blackbird but I like the silvers lake next to it which is Woodpecker and has some cracking ide and loads of roach, crucians, skimmers etc. If you're fancying a day just getting loads of bites Woodpecker is your best bet, pint of maggots,a few casters, corn, punched bread will all catch and if the ide are up in the water there's big weights to be had but probably too early in the year for that. Nice, delicate set up on the pole will do the job. Tackle shop on site and a cafe doing food aswell but not sure if it's open during the week. Keepnets allowed aswell as long as no big carp are put in. Come across from the A19 and join the A167 through Neville's Cross and there's a pub on the left called The Lodge and some traffic lights signposted left to Bearpark. Follow the road for a couple of minutes over a small bridge and there's some cottages on the left. The fishery entrance is on the left next to the bus stop. If there's nobody about just go and fish and he'll come round for the cash. Some trout lakes aswell if you're interested. It's set on a hill though and can get a bit blowy but there's high banks to give a bit of shelter. Hope this helps
