I did warn yous !! right so if im fishing a pole whats the min amount of extra kit i can get away with, can i just use one of them V shaped roller things or a couple of them for shipping in and out ?? do i need a pole sock or can i just use a rod rest?? im fishing off a chair not a box, wouldnt entertain even gettin a box been there done that and i wouldnt go back to using one, im not fishing matches or owt its purely for fun so dont be listing stuff as if i was a matchman lol, but if you think off something that is essential that i dont know about please let me know, cheers chaps

A pole cup to tip the bait in Rollers, pole holder for ya chair (not essential), a sock will be a good idea, that's about it really?

Bait cup is the important one! Socks are garbage if you ask me Rollers you can pick up for a couple of quid off eBay

I would say a tulip to hold your pole sections when you have shipped back also a roller or if your stuck use your rod bag just to keep it off the floor get some cad pots ideal for this time of year for drip feeding I only use my sock when its more than top 4 deep

I would personally elastic the pole myself arnt too keen on these pre elasticated top kits would rather do it myself then I know its good gear and shouldn't fail unless its prestons 11h lol you can get a tulip from boyes for £3 at the most me young un has one and its mint prestons cad pots fit any top kit and are £4 from rambos you wont need a big kup for the pole till the summer I would just take it steady mate get some little bits just incase you think its a pants method
