They were class! Just seen it now.
I bought a fly outfit to try for pike last summer and just never got round to it. Definitely love to get one on it - not quite a Nicaraguan tarpon but the next best thing!

Seen one the other week when he was trying for monster wels catfish from some reservoir at Chernobyl in Russia , the scene of that horrendous radiation scare. That's either mad or proper dedicated to the cause!! He had a bloody radiation monitor with him the lunatic. Love the show, not enough fishing programmes on tele.loved the Martin Bowler series and have been following the new Matty Hayes ones of record breaking fish )

Matt hayes has done some good one. I enjoyed the record breaking fish, especially the attempt for big pike on the wild river wye.
Also like his wet nets series with mick brown, again excellent. Not really into the missions to travel the country series etc, but other than that it's good.
Other favourites include passion for angling, catching the impossible and caught in the act.

Passion for angling for me Jim, fantastic series, if you ever get to read any of Chris Yates books , do so because he is an excellent author who has the habit offline you think that you're at the waterside too!! Casting at the sun is brilliant
