Rang club sec of Northallerton and he hasn't heard nothing and the EA hasn't rang him, he's gonna pop down tomz.. He's asked me to ask if anyone knows where it went in? He has a feeling if that much diesel has went in it will have ran into the Swale at beadale beck

Club sec of Northallerton was saying it won't effect the fish cause of the floods etc and with diesel being light it doesn't get into the river bed, he said the main concern is the banks where the insects live

Spoke to club sec of Northallerton again and he's been out and done some digging and found out some good info
It wasn't diesel that got into the Swale it was some sort of fuel the air drone use, a lot did leak into the Swale but its a substance like oil there for it floats like diesel, the air drone did report the problem to the EA as soon as they noticed, EA come down put some barriers around the spill to soak it up.. It went directly into the Swale from a fractured pipe next to the air drone.. Ea have said they don't believe there are any fish kills and they also say there will be no lasting damage
