Hi all, new to the forum iv just started taking up fishing again after 20yrs break and was wondering we're I can park close to water as I'm disabled and can't walk far. I would like to fish broken scar but do not know we're free stretch is or if theirs disabled parking close to river, looking for bream perch roach pike Thanks any help much appreciated. Spoo

Hi Park at the bottom of the road next to the river at Broken Scar, follow the road past the main carpark, display your badge though. Not sure about access to fishing though once down there, I suppose it depends on the severity of your disabilities.
To be fair nearly all river Tees access is poor for disabled anglers,its an area I've always wondered about with my own club, even poor for abled bodies people in most areas. The Tees at Stockton is not to bad for access down by the rowing club house, other than that I'm struggling.
You may be better off looking at lake fishing. Most commercial lakes have good disabled access.
Maybe others on here have more upto date information than myself.
