Does anyone know about parking on DAC's Oxney Flatts stretch?
The map you get shows off-road parking at Oxney Flatts Farm. Tho when I went to have a look, it's not a farm anymore, but a swish housing development. There's patches of grass and gravel that you could pull up on, but it's all very manicured. I wouldn't want to create bad feeling if no one parks there now, but it'd be good to park away from the A167, if possible.

Thanks, Graeme. That's very helpful. Yes, I guess housing development wasn't quite the right description. It was more that the farmhouse and cottages/outhouses had all been done up.

Going to be joining Darlo for next season and wondered what the Oxney section is like for coarse and game fishing, if any one can offer any info. Thanks Dave

Hiya Bri, great to hear from you, and hope you are well? Yeah, must have a catch up sometime for a chat and a cuppa. Take care.

Thanks Dave If you go to DAC's website, you'll find they post annual catch returns completed by 60-odd percent of their members. They give a useful indication of what comes out of each of their stretches.
