Bit late in my angling life to turn into a barbel angler but great news for those after the species. Just hope the club manages it well and doesn't advertise their location.

If the EA are doing and funding the stocking, they will publicize it. They've stocked fish into the Skerne and Clow Beck (it's been policy to stock tributaries rather than the main river) every year for ages. Every time they've done so there has been a press release.

Makes sense, but this time it is club waters theyre stocking. Can't see the club wanting publicity re their waters, mind if the EA and the club have an agreement, that's their business, but they will be no "cabinet leak" from me. Just pleased re the stocking for the future.

I love otters but the way lol , hasnt the tees been stocked few times in recent history ?? Maybe in few year might see some decent barbel catches
