I've never been a member of Mbro AC, but today I saw a map of their Tees stretch at Dinsdale. I'd thought it was just a few pegs either side of Dinsdale bridge, but it's much longer than that, running up to Ashes Farm. There must be a few good pegs along there.
Does anyone know what access is like towards the top end, especially in summer? It looks like it's a wood all the way, but do you need a machete and chainsaw, or can you get through OK?

From the bridge upstream towards gibson motorsports is through the woods. However there is a good path where locals walk their dogs. Just over halfway it becomes private to the house but the access is good. After that I couldn't figure out access to the ashes. Downstream of the bridge is easy too.

Thanks, Kev. Looks like another stretch to consider then when club subs fall due next month. I know there’s some nice streamy water along there for trotting, and no doubt a few pikey/chubby slacks too. Looks like somewhere you can away from it all.

Decent stretch, but the further upstream you get the far steeper the banks. It's quite a walk to the private wood bit where there's a bench... I've not seen the alleged dog that patrols that area though! 🐶😂
Downstream of the road bridge is okay with a couple of easy pegs to sit and wait, then you may have to walk over the field and through the gate to get to the lower limit, but it's not exactly worth doing that.

Theres quite a few pegs to fished and ive had some good chub from both ends over the years.never been passed the fence you come to in the woods as the land owner is suppose to be not keen on anyone fishing there even tho its says you can on the map for boro club waters.not sure if thats changed as its bern a while since ive fished it.
