Think I've finally flipped. Nothing left to do in the garden, all fishing gear gleaming in the garage and not back at work until Wednesday. Youtube to the rescue this afternoon,so got some line and a swivel and thought I'd have a look at a few new knots and see if there's anything easier to tie in the dark and strong aswell. Tried loads of variations of knots I'd never heard of,some easy, some a waste of time and reached a decision after a few hours. Stick to a palomar that I've always used, very neat, very strong, and easy to tie. I need help.

Luckily I got out the week before we went on lockdown. Visited a local commercial was still a little cold but caught a couple of little carp and a few roach. Was just nice to get onto the bank and was looking forward to a good summer of fishing. But that's not looking likely hopefully this virus calms down a little over the next few months and we might be able to get back out towards the end of June or something.
Stay safe

As all of us well and truly fed up. Had several weeks last year unable to fish after my heart op. Thanks to being fit was back to fishing seven weeks after my heart valve replacement and bypass. Weeks of not fishing over the flooded winter. Now like all retired folk apart from my daily dog walk and once a week to the supermarket confined to the house. Missing seeing the grandkids. Over did the excercise routine and now suffering aches and pains. But like all responsible people just sticking to the rules we have been given. All l can say is best wishes to all and hope you get through this without loss.

Guy on his way to the zoo with a van load of monkeys when he breaks down on the motorway, paddy pulls up behind and asks if he needs help? Guy says il give you £50 if you take the monkeys to the zoo for me, sure says paddy and off they go, 2 hours later the guy sees paddy on the other carraige with the monkeys, he manages to flag him down then says to him" i gave you £50 to take them to the zoo? Paddy says i did but still had some money left over so now were off to the cinema!

It could be worse guys, I’m quarantined in a small hotel room being fed 3 pretty bad meals per day awaiting a coronavirus test tomorrow. Results take 2/3 days then I’ll go offshore!

Best of luck. Not a good situation to be in. Years ago over 200 of us on the Brae A. Flu did the rounds, only time l have ever had it. Not everyone got it. When you consider how close together you live on a platform.
