A good attendance at tonight's AGM, good finally meet Marc and Stu.
Jim and John put forward an excellent proposal for a 2 rod rule within the club which was surprisingly well received. Despite some strong opposition the proposal actually received the majority of the votes! (52.5%) unfortunately any rule changes require 60% of the vote and ultimately the proposal wasn't passed. Plans are already in place for next year, so if there are any A section members that would like to see the rule changed, please attend next years AGM as every vote matters.

Basically we need some guys that support the two rod rule in the A section so if anyone is thinking about joining get your name down to get in for next year
