one of the best little inventions to come out in fishing in my opinion, so simple but so good, if your still faffing about with normal hair rigs and bait stops, get a couple of packs of quickstops and get em tied on to your hair rigged hooklengths, even better in the winter when your hands are freezing and your trying to get the baitstop in to the hair, no need with the quickstop, all you need is a quickstop needle or like i do when ive lost the needle, and i lose a fair few, just use an old pole float to push the quickstop through the bait, job done. dont know what id do without quick change beads now, there is other things you can use but theres nothing simpler or better than a korum or drennan quick change bead, you can change hooklengths in seconds which makes life much easier when your on the bank, while your waiting for a bite on the method, straight lead or any feeder for that matter, you can be preparing other hooklengths with other baits and it takes seconds to change over to other baits. check em out if your not using em already.

Yeh i gotta agree the quickstops are spot on ideal for corn as well, and your right about the quick change beads i use use them all the time, dead easy to change hook lengths when i want to change from a quickstop to a band hair rigged
