Just drove south . Swale is Very swollen and chocolate brown. The ure has broken its banks and is in the fields, the nidd is almost at the field as well. The wharfe just looked like a raging torrent. Further south I saw an ark being loaded with animals. Bit confused though with the two male lions - good luck breeding them Jim what you doing in Bradford bud ?? ?? Taking lsd by the sound of it!

Tees is dropping sharply and the forecast is for less rain in the hills than was predicted earlier in the week.
Hopefully it continues....

Tees (low moor) has dropped 1.6m in last 24hours some rain in the hills tonight but it should have a massive effect on the levels. Fingers crossed!

Just been on the Tees today at Winston, maybe 12-18" up superb colour but horrendous gale force winds forced me to stop fishing around 13.30
Had to work hard for 4 fish of which all but one were male Grayling well over the pound mark, the other was a Brownie that was a minnow short of 2lb.
If there is not to much rain & the wind drops the Tees should be in superb condition.
