dropping quickly outside my house (over dinsdale) horrible colour at the moment, shouldn't take long to clear if we don't get ant heavy rain up in the hills

I think you could be right Bri - I assume you would be piking, maybe still a bit too much colour, chub fishing should be okay,
a note to everyone as a reminder the banks are treacherous - be careful and safe if venturing out

Just come back in after having a look, fancied getting some eyes on the water and the dog needed walking so two birds with one stone
Leven has a fair old flow on it and its up and well coloured and the Tees has a little colour and a fair flow in the middle but still fishable down the edge
Walked round the inner loop at Yarm for a look and theres not been many fishing the free stretch, looks like two swims above the church have had a few on lately but not many elsewhere, banks were in good fettle really
No Yarm anglers on the opposite bank and no one on the free stretch, not a pike day today really so glad I gave it a miss, got tomorrow off so fingers crossed for a break with the weather

Quick condition report from this morning
River levels fairly constant, maybe up by a quarter of an inch, plenty of pace about it and the colour of milk chocolate

Been to York on the train today (school hols and all that..). Lots of coloured water going into the rivers looking at the streams we crossed on the journey and the Leven very coloured. Just had a look at the levels and yes there’s a right spike. Was thinking of going on Sat for pike but not looking good again...and time is running out!

I think if we had more time to fish and not miss the windows of opportunity it wouldn't be so bad Marc.

I was gonna head to the Swale later but too much cold water has gone in for me.
Lower tees is coloured so I’d imagine the middle will also have some colour
