Locke Park, Redcar
Middlesbrough Angling Club regret to inform members that the club no longer has the lease on Locke Park in Redcar. Therefore this means that day tickets will no longer be available on behalf of the club and anyone fishing the lake will do so as a member of the public and not a member of Middlesbrough Angling Club. The clubs insurance will no longer apply to this venue.
Due to the continuing predation of the lake and over recent years the junior matches have resulted in mainly “blanks” it was decided to terminate the lease and divert club funds to our other fisheries. Middlesbrough Angling Club would like to thank Redcar & Cleveland Council for their support over many years.

I think its a good decision as well Geoff, don't think any members fished it anyway, much better to put the resources elsewhere imo
