Been making a few batches up using the flask method. When ready do you leave it in the same water to ferment a bit more or drain off? I know carp like it fermented up a bit but what about chub & barbel?

I take it out stu its preferance really but i prefer to do the above and soak it a little more in malasis for a wee bitt after the initial prep.thats how i do mine anyways but very little malasis just something to slightly sweeten.
