Well its almost here, what will be the bait tactics etc on the start of the season, i've always thought worms and naturals work best as the fish have had no pellets and other fancy baits, but i'm now starting to think otherwise, something new but what they may well remember from months ago might just wel work ?? for instance last year i decided cheese paste and likky wasn't just for winter fishing and why should it be!!?? fish are not seasonal feeders (trout excluded) the fish i target would eat anything all year round, so spill the beans on your "off the blocks" tactics

Stick float session for me, couple of pints of maggots, some hemp and a pint of caster. Hoping to be on the bank for first light, fishing for dace, roach and hopefully the odd chub/ decent perch. I might take a lure rod aswell, I'll probably fish until lunch time.
