Is the week dragging for anyone else lol, so near yet so far, i know weve had some rain but by looks of it rivers should be spot on for monday (fingers and toes crossed) watching the levels in earnest now and been getting a few reports back of lads who've been out and about walking some of my favorite stretches and alls looking good so far, wont even need to set me alarm as i can never sleep anyway the night before opening day, i will e out on the road heading somewhere by 3am to get there for that first light

It wasn't anything stupid mate. Still a fair bit mind, some of the pegs I could access on closing day, I couldn't access now.
The more I look at the stretch, the more I think the best way to tackle it is with waders and a centre pin.

yeh i agree Jim, theres some lovely looking holding areas on the near bank that even in winter you just couldn't fish to from off the bank, you deffo need to slide down the bank and get in the water and if your trotting a float through it'll be even better for your presentation
