I heard a rumour today that a big spill of something has gotten into the lower Tees from one of the becks, apparently the EA and Yarm club have been down today trying to sort it, Has anyone got any info or shed a bit more light on this please ??

Bet it's come off a heating oil tank some pikey has been trying to rob. Similar to the incident at Cod Beck the back end of last year.

Gutted, I'm going to email the EA for more info. Also gonna be pushing them to restock once the pollution is sorted.

Spoke to the EA today, am waiting on a call back from the officer dealing with the incident. Hopefully can get some positive info from him and not the usual brushing it under the carpet bollocks.
