Well closed course season now upon us, so swim maintenance begins what a glorious day to be by the river, fish topping all over the place typical. I'm old school, don't follow the trend re mental health issues. If I did though today would have cured me for certain. Before After Before After Continued on and completed another two sets before home time at 3pm. Back again next week weather permitting (think we are expecting snow???) to continue with more swims.

Well done Kev, that’s looks like a quality job. I’m already looking forward to taking advantage of your hard work. 😉 And meeting up with you on the river bank.

Looks good kev. Give it a few weeks and I'll be out on a evening doing the same. It's amazing how much the overgrowth has started back as early as it has this year.

Hi Marc Hopefully I'm back next week to continue on, I'll try and repair / clean another four swims continuing along the line.
That's all it needs Marc just a few of us to go down there and do a little, even just keeping the tracks to the swims open, I'm not expecting anyone to go as far as I do. Although there are possibly another three swims that would benefit from a few steps cutting in.
Compared to a few years back when there was probably only a handful of swims to fish we now have approx 15 or so easily accessible (especially for us oldies such as Myself and Tom 😂) to go at. It's a shame really that very little gets done to our waters, I know with being a Ltd Company H&S plays a big part.im sure if access to other sections of river where the case we could possibly entice more members.
Darlington Anglers have a very good H&S section on their website, and their waters are really maintained well.
Anyway Id better get off my soap box before I get in bother.
