What's peoples view on the drennen 13ft tench/specimen flat rod has anyone used one?,I fancy an upgrade and it looks good and breaks down nicely made up.

Dunno never heard of it ,will Google it l Ts8 Rambo's have a mint looking rod along with a centre pin reel, well expensive though but I will get it for float fishing for tench, and stick floating on rivers , can't remember make but it's above left of counter when u go in .
I use John Wilson rovex for just about everything at mo , amazing rod , and you can get it with a reel now for 60 notes , cheap because it's classed as old model , but it's better than rods iv bought twice the price .

Andy Yep john Wilson rovex Avon quiver, cracking rods for price handled my double figure barbel on the tees well.

I've got one Steve, not caught on it yet tho,
Initially I wanted the drennan power float but they've stopped making spares so I went for the series 7 version
Seems like a good rod, usual series 7 standard, I've got about 5 series 7 rods, happy with them all
Rambos usually price match, think I got mine for £90

I've been using my carp waggler which does the job fine but its 3 sections so a bit of an arse on and tangles up when made up and broke down,so the drennen seems better made up in 2 sections and packs away nicely in its case and seconds to whip it out and put together.
