ive just got in touch with Ofcom mozz cos I'm getting loads of interference from thoughs green virgin boxes and street lights.used to be us who interferd now all the modern appliances are hammering us.solar panels, adapters, sometimes theres that much static its hard to hear any distant stations.they going to investigate.pity anyone on just 11 meter cb bands cos Ofcom wnt get involved and they are getting hamperd to hell.
thought it might have been coming through my electrical supply,so rigged it all up on batteries and shut my leccy off.exactely the same so deffo air born.not so bad on 20-40 meters but anything below it annoying as hell.got a 4ft earth rod in ground from ariel, power supplys and radios earthed to ground, ferrite ring av amplitudes filters exactely the same.radio had 8 different rf filters in it aswell and still get hammerd.

probabely going to get less when I put a beam up,never been a lover of verticles for ham, they ok for 10-11mtrs. got it here all nice n shiney in the box but a bitt of a chew to stick up at mo.got meself a yagi 6 element and a 2 meter vertical on the top for the 2 meters.
going to invest in an ANC4, bitt pricey at 145.00 second hand but if it cures the problem, happy days.
need a bigger back garden when this beam goes up lol....16 ft radials x 6......with 4ft spacings,a huge beast.neibours are going to love it pmsl.
invested a few quid on some gt3 pmr's.proper funny them listening to security in redcar chasing a lad and lass for an hour.shoplifting still didn't catch em.one of em was shouting he was too fat to run and that he was going to stop going to donalds for his dinner brk.he gave up after 3 mins left the other bloke to chase em pmsl.
mobile phone listening is funny as hell.
