The only problem i see with it, is i think i would be tempted to use it the same way i do a rucksack, and i could see myself slowly loading it with more and more gear, then it would become a chew on emptying all my gear out of it to use it as a sling, then the chew on of putting all my gear back in it to move, never seen one in "real life" but for me personally it looks a bit bulky, i would rather stick with my rucksack for my gear, and a light weight sling that can be shoved easily into one of the side pockets, i wouldn't use it to move my rod/rods as i find the quiver light enough and just as quick anyways, just my opinion though, might be ideal for someone elses needs, just not mine

Had a look at one of these in Rambos today, look spot on for roving, has straps to hold a rod and a pockets for bank sticks. I'll be getting one for when the rivers open.
