ended up getting the preston pcr 4000, what a reel, well chuffed with it, looking forward to hopefully getting a few carp using it this sunday.

thats it mate, i was like a little kid on the way back on the bus, i couldnt leave it alone, finished work and jumped straight on the bus to go and get it, very smooth reel with plenty of power im sure.

it was priced up at £120 but dale sold it to us for a ton, first time ive ever spent that on a reel but its a quality bit of kit and should last me years, the thing is, i could use this reel for almost all the types of fishing i do so it will get well used so i was prepared to splash out.
