can you be arsed, i have to be in the mood to sit down for hours preparing stuff, unless im going fishing the next day and i have to prepare, as you can imagine, i go through loads of hooklengths and to be quite truthful, im sick to death of doing them, and pole rigs, if im in the mood i can sit for hours preparing but like tonight, i said to myself i was going to sit down and fill my hooklength boxes up but it just didnt happen, think i tied about 10 and sacked it off, might do a few more later but to be fair, i cant be arsed.

yes Jordan, im exactly the same, (or worse) im planning to fish tmro, promised myself I would make hook lengths (all sizes etc) been to sisters for dinner/family get together, home & cant be bothered...... now, I would say im somewhat very disorganised because..... I don't know yet...... where im fishing? "swale-holme, tees-yarm, cod beck"? what species im fishing for? "chub, perch, pike etc" what bait? "got maggots, pellets, dead bait" what rods etc im taking? now that's what I called disorganised, no doubt I,ll be up in the morning spending even more time debating on where to go and what species to target? new years resolution...........be a bit more decisive

im the opposite lol.ive got 3 holdalls,my rods are usually in the rite bag for whatever situation im fishing.barbel gear in one, match fishing or stilly in the other and so on.rigs are always made up,when fishing for whiskers which can be a wait, ile tie riggs whilst there.bait is in buckets, many of them aswell labelled and ready to go.saying that not done a grt deal of fishing this yr so ive had plenty of time on my hands and sorted through it manytimes.cleaned it often when it dosnt need cleaning, stripped reels down,u name it ive done it.the biggest prob with me is actually finding what I want without having to move a mountain ov gear so that's all done the night before.so ide say im pretty organised really.i try to make it easy so when I want to go its a case of pick it up and go at the drop off a hat.i get up make me flask, dump it in the car and im offski.

My main gears always easy to get sorted, box rods' reels' bait but because I do a fair bit of fishing, it seems I spend half my life making rigs and hook lengths, I don't use the same rig twice tho so I go through a fair few rigs, just sat and done 30 hook lengths, takes me ages tho, that's the only thing.

Carp rigs are alright because I fish straight through and I don't need hook lengths but for silvers when I'm using hook lengths down to 0.6mm it becomes a bit of a mare sat tying tiny hooks to low diameter lines' don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it most of the time but there is days where I just can't bothered, needs to be done tho

Yes mate. Going to vary it a bit, shelter from wind and rain in the morning and sit on a peg, then do some roving on the afternoon once it clear up.

I'm after chub and pike. Basically scratching for that one important bite. I hope I catch but it's been a fortnight since last fished so I'm just glad to be going back to flowing water.
