Aye,point taken Mick. I like the challenge of visiting new waters,would never give up my local rivers but would love the opportunity to travel a bit further and fish waters that I only read about. I can blank anywhere,me.

aye, the residents will soon get sick of that mate, im not suprised tho the fishing thats on offer, should make the field you walk through in to a car park.

way I see it which ever you join Bradford or leeds you got to travel a fair distance,around the same distance actually cos they both got waters south of the swale aswell.its just down to preference what stretches of the swale you intend to fish.for me thorny is pressured but uve got a mile of river and prime from top to bottom.toplcliff uve got around 13 pegs to cover both sides.
double up you havnt got a problem unless your in my car pmsl,then it aint so bad if the suns out just put the roof down and stick your rods out the top.be looking for a new motor soon 4x4 or estate not decided yet.

all this talk of toppy, asenby, thorny bridge etc,, lol.......................cant bare it as soon as my "exercise level" reaches "20/30mins walks" (its gona have to be a river bank walk) don't care which river...I,m sure the mrs will drive me if I promise to leave my rods at home.....

is frustrating mate when I had my opp it done me nappa in reading everyones posts on were they had been and catching.
