Like us all who have avoided the virus l am tottaly fed up with the current situation. All our fisherys are full to bursting. Hartlepool Ac Tilery 7 cars there before 06.00 on Monday. Morning cycle ride. Renny car park full. Mbro's Hutton pond 14 cars. As someone who has always worked shifts l have only ever gone fishing midd week or locations l know will be quiet. Just like my own company and choice of angling locations Hoping once the rivers open those of us who value seclusion will be able to fish in peace and quiet. With no return to work, looks like foreign holidays cancelled cannot see any return to quiet are remote. Hate to say it but didnt realise there were so many angling incompetent. Also drivers take care back roads full of cycling incompetent's. Been horrified at their antics.

John I put in a post other day it's bit of a treck but seller bridge about 75 mins by car is very peacefully and big enough to be on your own on busier days anyway ,it's not too weedy yet either , you'll get lots of tench from pound to who knows , lots of rudd up to pound and more ,and big bream sometimes show and reasonable head of carp , and the drive there very peacefully as u can go right after Lockwood Beck and over tops of moods

My local pond reopened with only alternate pegs available to keep to the distancing rules. I avoided the weekend but went on Thursday and was lucky to get a peg. The pond is fishing really well and I had a good day catching silvers on a waggler and red maggot but it just didn't feel right, don't know whether it was the number of people there, who still visited each others pegs despite the notices that have been put up,or whether I just didn't really fancy it because of what's going on. I usually fish stillwaters until October before getting back to the rivers but this year I think I'll be back out on the 16th for a bit of peace and quiet and I can be confident of not contravening any rules. Matches have also been given the go ahead now,I just hope they're policed properly and the lads adhere to the rules so we can all continue fishing.

Same here greame unfortunately rivers will be a test and conditions not good unless we get some proper wet weather , I for one ain't gonna stress barbel and chub if we end up as predicted with largely dry warm or hot weather week after week
