Is it as small as it looks on pics mick or is it deceptive?

Pics are decepitive Andy it's well looked after plus he has another pond but that is the stock pond and its just a rectangle but he lets the kids fish it for free to get them started he also supplied them with poles and stuff but sadly the lock up he kept them in was broken into and all the best for the kids was stolen

its a cracking water and a cracking lad who pops round.
first time I had fished it so do didn't really know the water.i sat in a comfy peg,not always recommended but wanted the wind on my back so I opted for the far end with the embankment for shelter,it was very blustry, but I also opted for the shallow end......the bream in there are absolute stonking.i managed a few of thoughs easily 4lb'rs even the skimmers are of a good size.carp are mint condition and fight like dogs, managed a good few of thoughs aswell upto around 4lb a piece.if you are fishing it the top end and sides are the shallow section,18" to 2ft.the end you approach around 5ft to 6ft in places.the little back pond holds some surprises, dosnt look much but it fishes really well once you get the feed going with some good carp to 6lb.i managed a few nice crucians whilst there and some stonking roach and its well shelterd.
generally a well maintained canny fishery, ile deffinately be having another trip there with better weather conditions.it was really windy and wet not pleasant one bitt.
as mick said mention the forum, might be a few perks in it for us lot on the forum.well recommend you take a pole if you have one,you should take the place apart.dnt fish to light either, they go like stink, may even be worth a knock up sometime,a lads get together for a laff.

Does the guy come round for the fee here or do you have to head up and pay by the quad bikes?

Cheers for that Mick....took the little fella with me today for a 3-4 hr session...we blanked on the waggler rods, but out of the half a dozen of us on there, there was only one guy catching....had a walk around the stock pond on there too!..its not a bad little set up there..enjoyed it anyway as always any time on the bank is worth it eh.

its worth a throw in the stock pond mate, you are allowed to fish it we did rather well on it. some surprising lumps in there.if your on the wagg make sure you plumb the depth.they were quite fussy on the big pond last time i was on there.
