They look nice fish , well done, what gives them that orange colour to their tail fins, is that something all the fish in there show or is it something in the camera

Might have to give Locke Park a whirl this year, free fishing now, M'bro has given up the water and the council havent done anything about taking control of the back yet so until they start charging again its free for all, still some decent carp left in there and some big bream, not too sure on the roach and perch but could be well worth a whirl

give me a shout bri when you fancy a go ile meet you down there.2 baits out better than one bud.used to love the junior matches in there.won a tom pickering diawa lightning rod and a mitchell 206.i was quite lucky with peg numbers back then and always seemed to get pegged on the hot ones lol.i know a lot died we was watching them gasping and a bloke go round with a huge pump giving it some circulation, was a shame.found atleat 20 plus big bream/carp dead and god knows how many on last legs.shame used to love locke park.the tench and bream were to die for, crucians a plenty and double figure carp with monster eels.

Tees valley lakes are just past teeside airport before yarm . Consist of a match/course lake heavily stocked with tench bream carp roach etc and 2 new speci carp lakes. 1 lake approx 2 acres 5 pegs with 50 fish with atleast 15 over 20lb other lake just under 1.5 acres 5 pegs and 90 fish tofrom 6lb to 23lb .
The fish are all sourced from VS fisheries so have great bloodlines from dinks. Harlows and sutton strainncarp . With the carp caught 20lb plus only 6 yrs old .
Life time membership is £50 then £20 for 24hrs all secure site and entry code sent the morning youre booked on . I think day tickets for course lake are £7 .The whole site is otter fenced .
Speci lakes are New venue so not mature yet but in 2yrs will be stunning . Bollie and pellet only and all nets mats and slings are provided . Barbless
I have no doubt this will become a highly popular venue in the next few years and produce several over 30lb barrier and is ran by Ste Alford a top carp fisherman so theres no silly rules and always willing to help lads out and get them fish on bank

Got yer. The place with the combination locked gate. Fished the coarse lake last winter, good silvers venue. Bit of a building site when I was there but looked a very professional setup.
