well had an afternoon free so stripped all 4 of my shimano runners down.they'v took some hammer this season so thought it best.
just loaded them all up with esp synchro xt.heard really good reviews on this line, specially in the 12lb test....0.33 so not to bad about the average for 12lb line.anyone else used it??.
not a bad price either at 18 quid for 1000 meters.very subtle line with a grt stretch and knots tie beautiful,no need for a pre-soak either like the trilene ive been using.not complaining about trilene its grt line and seriousely strong, just thought with the reviews ive been getting about the esp thought I would try it on my 5000 and stick to trilene on my 6000.

I use it for barbel fishing mate in 12lb. A lot of line on the spool and lasts a good while, takes some braking!!

nice one jim.im a sucker for change but it seems quality gear and much thinner than trilene, more suited to my 5000.
