Coarse fishing near South Bank on the Tees

Alrite Guys,
I'm on a ship that will be operating out of South Bank on the river Tees for the next 2 years.If anyone could advise me if there is any place to go coarse angling close by,or clubs to join that could help,I would be very grateful.

Hello Mick and thanks for the welcome.
I think it would be commercials mate as my time would be limited.I'm looking for somewhere as close as possible to South Bank docks as that's where my ship will be berthed.I will only have 6 hour windows to fish so travelling has to be kept to a minimum.Also,could you advise on any tackle/bait shops in the area please?
