I used to fish this years ago when it was a Middlesbrough AC water. Used to be full of small Tench, Perch and Roach,............happy days.
Can you fish it now, who has it?

many a gd day at poole.
it was stunted for yrs.was absolutely wick with tench and curly crucians as we called them.loads of gudeon aswell.
apart from the odd king strain the rudd were the bizz on floating caster, there was some stonkers in there, specially opposite side on the sunken boat peg.

Walked around and had a look at the weekend. The place is unrecognisable
What a shame, I have some great childhood memories of catching Rudd and Roach here as a kid

I was saying exactly the same to my young un last night.
Spent many a day in the six week holiday up there.
Kids don’t seem interested in been outdoors now, to many distractions with modern technology.
I do sound old lol.

couldn't agree more.ive tried to get my two lads into it from a young age, although they are 21-24 now.they were to pre-occupied in other things.they came from time to time and enjoyed it.i ask most times if they want to come to my 21 yr old but girls come first lol.
