Darlington brown trout have a few small bits of the swale at Brompton and higher up on the tees at Middleton, and the river lune (??)

It's more just a thought for next year to be honest. I'm thinking of solely concentrating on the tees, with the option of the odd swale trips for the tees clubs that have the odd stretches. Darlington brown have limited capacity (500), and I understand the earlier you get the application in the better.

As far as I was aware they had no waiting list. They lost a alot of members due to there stocking policy, they were financially struggling before as they gave all the old members a life time membership for next to nothing, might of changed now though

Cheers ronny. You don't know the price do you. £70 for Darlington anglers by the looks of it, which is a bit steep for me

I think Darlington anglers share the Tees at High Coniscliffe with Brown trout these days. Quite a long length but some long walks from Low Coniscliffe and if you want peace and quiet you might be disappointed, lots of joggers, bikers, and dog walkers. Don't forget that you've got access to the opposite bank on your Association ticket and it's easier to get to. Darlington have the stretch at Stapleton above Blackwell bridge and also the lake you can see when driving along the A66m coming into Darlington from the motorway. Given the choice I'd keep my Stockton ticket, each to their own though.
