Yea mick lol
He was ok if he knew u.. Wouldn't surprise me if he quit, the stress he was under was unreal, amount of shit he got off ebay etc and it wasn't even his shop
He use to be a good angler, but he ended up with a health issue and he can't sit by the water now so he stopped fishing a long time ago and he's never been since, be ironic working in a tackle shop

I've been into Sammy's this afternoon and have to say that there wasn't a lot of sympathy being shown,in fact one or two seemed glad! Never used the place but it can't be good when a tackle shop closes unless you have the only decent remaining tackle shop in Darlington of course. Bit scary when such a large town can only support 1 shop, that's the power of the internet I suppose. Shops can't survive on selling maggots.

Greame the shop wasn't much cop tbf, had nothing in really, maggots were carp, groundbait and pellets had big holes in bags off the mice.. Was ok for the odd bits, but his customer service was crap, he was more bothered about selling on eBay
Carp finatix shut down cause he owed loads of money out for drugs
Adams was just unfortunate I think, wasn't in the best location and fishing wasn't as popular was it was now
There's still home en lesuire who operate from a shop just off whessoe road, some good bargains to be had from him and he's a top man, will drop everything to have a chat with you or to show u stock etc, doesn't bother with maggots like Well worth a look down but don't expect a shop like darlington angling centre lol

Aye,remember Adams very well. Used it regularly until the council stopped the parking in the surrounding streets. Writing was on the wall after that.
