Drennan super trace is the best stuff I've used but the coating can strip easy off it so normally 2 pike and u change the trace

Np bud..
The drennan soft wire is also good for targeting perch with a chance of a pike, very supple stuff and you can actually knot the stuff

I've found the 30 plus to be below average. Had some of the hooks open out on a near 20lb pike as well.
Coated drennan or fox carbo flex I've found to be excellent.

I've been using e.t. 49 strand in 35lb for years and can't fault it, very supple and lays flat to the river/lake bed and doesn't kink as much. Like many other anglers I tend to stick with tackle that doesn't let me down and this hasn't. Its recommended you use crimps but I twist it with no problems (not a lover of crimps)....
